『The Portrait of a Lady』

『The Portrait of a Lady』 was written by Henry James in 1881. He was born in America, and he was flourished in England.
The heroine of 『The Portrait of a Lady』 is Isabel Archer. She is an intelligent young American woman. She came to Europe with dream and hope in the future. She is very beautiful and wise, so popular with many boys. But she doesn’t want to marry, she want to be freedom. In the passage, she said ‘I really don’t want to marry, or talk about it. I must be independent.’
However she judged wrongly, so she becomes very unhappy. She demands for freedom, but she married Osmond. He is a bad man and also restrains her life.
She tried to run away from Osmond, and then she goes to Ralph. Ralph is her cousin and he is the most understanding her. Ralph loves her, but he is illness and he is dying.
After Ralph’s death, Isabel go back to Osmond. She noticed about Ralph’s big love for her, but it’s too late.
I think her mind was grown up from this experience. So this choice was correct for her.

Fukuoka (*ﾟ∀ﾟ)♪

Yesterday I went to Fukuoka to take an interview examination with my friend Yuko. The examination was a group discussion, and each group had 7 people. Everyone were first meeting at that time, so we did self introduction first. Then we started to group work. It was a very interesting theme. We had to make new KANJI.

Then after the examination, Yuko and I went to lunch for Wendy's. That was my first eating a Wendy's. There are many kind of hamburger. And the picture is chiken burger, it was very delicious for me.

An Athletic Festival ヽ(･ω･○)

Today, I went to an athletic festival at SEISEI high school.Because my brother go to this high school now, and he is amember of cheer group. So my mother and I went to looking him. He belongs to AODAN(team blue). The performance was a very good, we really enjoyed an athletic festival. And it was really fine today, I think many people enjoyed happy weekend.
