The Phantom of the Opera

Do you believe in ghosts? Of course not. But this story is about ghosts.

In the Paris, Opera House in 1880, strange things are happening. One of the dancers sees a shadow in a dark passage. One of the stage workers sees a man in a black evening coat. And many people hear a strange voice in empty room. It is the Phantom of the Opera…
Everybody is talking about the Phantom of the Opera, the ghost that lives somewhere under the Opera House.

At that time, a beautiful girl, Christine becomes a prima donna in Opera House. She taught music by mysterious teacher. Then her childhood friend Raoul , he loves her. So he had a jealousy for her music teacher, and he tried to solve a mystery. Surprisingly, the music teacher is the Phantom of the Opera.

The Phantom of the Opera has terrible ugly face, but he is a genius for art. And also he loves Christine. He proposed to her in the passage, he said ‘If you not be my wife, I’ll kill Raoul.’ Christine cried because she loves Raoul, she chose Raoul. The mad Phantom burned the Opera House.

This was the last of the Opera House. For weeks, all Paris talked about that affair of the Opera House. Everybody asked questions, but nobody knew the answers. Where was Christine? Where was the Raoul? Where they alive, or dead? And the Phantom of the Opera….?

After reading this book, I really like this story. I like the Phantom of the Opera more than Raoul. The Phantom have a sad past, so I think he wants to real love. In the ending, we can imagination that original story. I think that is the best interest point in this story.

Also I watched this movie and stage, especially I like movie. Gerard Butler was unknown to me before I saw this movie. The music is powerful and Gerard's untrained voice is so passionate had I been Christine I would have thrown over Raul in a heartbeat and gone to live with the Phantom!
